The Organizing committee extends a very warm invitation to the scientists, researchers, academicians, students professionals and industry personnel to participate in the International conference on 'Emerging Trends in Chemistry', (ETIC 2010), being organized by the Department of Chemistry on the occasion of the diamond jubilee year of the university of Pune, 5^th to 7^th January, 2010. Academic deliberations would be from eminent scientists from India and abroad. The focus of the Scientific sessions will be on the recent developments in the various branches of Chemistry.
  We welcome you to the historic city of Maharashtra, Pune to experience the rich flavor of culture, tradition and education at the same time.

Scope and Objective

The recent times,research in Chemistry has crossed the boundaries of different branches, emerging with a new dimension of understanding and widening its field of application. The aim of the conference is to help visualize the newer aspects and impact of the chemical studies and research in the coming years. Also, to associate several outstanding scientists from India and abroad for sharing their knowledge with young researchers.
  This conference will give a platform for young research students and budding scientists from all over India to discuss their research with leading national and international experts and will also have exposure to recent developments in their fields of interest and other disciplines of Chemical Sciences.Such a meet on emerging trends in chemistry, with an interaction between young and experienced researchers will help to take a stock of present status and future directions of chemical research, with an interdisciplinary approach.
  In the present scenrio, considering the wide applications in the fields of science and technology, bridging the gap between research and society,an interdisciplinary approach has been in the selection of the topics for this conference.
